Here are a handful of photos from my most recent trip to Mexico. Endured some hardships, lost a lot of gear, including my camera that got stolen, but these trips on the rios (rivers) with friends always seemed to bring smiles, laughter, and a deep contentment.
Shot this while walking along the top of the waterfall (Cascada de Tamul). This is one of my favorite trees, especially during the afternoon light. Such a huge, enchanting, and story bookish looking tree.

Yesterday while riving thru the lush jungles of Nayarit, Mexico we stopped and in the tree above our car was this incredible looking iguana. Careful the next time you decide to sit under a tree in the tropics, you might just have one of these fellas fall in your lap!
Today was my first visit to the city of Guanajuato, Mexico. I was only able to visit for a day, but I hope to return to this magical little city real soon and photograph more parts of it. It’s a photographer’s dream. Here are a few pics I just snapped while walking around with my iPod....
